NATIONAL PETROCARBON ( PVT. ) LTD.                                      

This manufacturing concern was purchased from the Government of Pakistan and is the first and only kind of manufacturing unit in Pakistan, capable of  producing carbon  black - a raw material which is consumed basically by  the tire and rubber  industries.

NPC's carbon black plant commenced production in 1980. Since then all  the requirements of the rubber  and Tire  industries of Pakistan  are being met satisfactorily.  NPC's carbon black is approved by  the  general tire International  Co., Akron, OHIO-USA. Besides meeting  the country's demand  NPC's carbon black  has also been exported  to world  markets  including Iran, India, Srilanka, Banglades, tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Kenya, South Korea and Dubai.
